Steph is passionate about providing Physiotherapy, with a special interest in treating Neurological conditions. As well as NeuroFocus, Steph practises at Surrey Memorial and Peace Arch Hospital.
She graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2007 with a Masters of Physical Therapy, and in 2005 with a Bachelors of Science in Biology.
With more than ten years of cross-continuum Physiotherapy experience, Steph started her career at Surrey Memorial Hospital, spending six years working on the Acute Stroke Unit. Additionally, she has worked on Rehabilitation wards and for a private Neuro-Physiotherapy company in Vancouver.
In pursuing expertise in Neurological Rehabilitation, she has taken many post graduate courses, including: Advanced Bobath Concept courses, Explain Pain and certification as a PWR! Parkinson's Wellness Recovery Therapist.
Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, beachcombing, Shakespeare and travelling. Among her great life mentors is her yoga-practicing, 90-year old grandma.
